Meet Jamie
Kannapolis has been my home for 17 years. It’s where I’ve raised my children, built a life, and committed myself to serving others. All of my children work for local Cabarrus County businesses, my daughter bought her first house here, and my roots in this community grow deeper every year.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to serve our community in a variety of ways. I spent 12 years in ministry and outreach at Connect Christian Church, and today I work at Cooperative Christian Ministry, helping families navigate crisis with dignity and support. I also serve on the Kannapolis Planning & Zoning Commission, support local law enforcement as a member of Cabarrus County Crime Stoppers, and advocate for small business growth as a Cabarrus Chamber Ambassador. I’m proud to serve on the board of the Rotary Club of Cabarrus County and remain active with Leadership Cabarrus as part of both the steering and alumni committees.
Watching our city grow and evolve has been inspiring—and I want to help guide that growth by showing up, listening carefully, and bringing people together. I’m running because I believe in leadership that listens, builds strong relationships, and is committed to moving Kannapolis forward—together. With your support, I’ll bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to the City Council—working with city staff, business leaders, schools, and neighbors to strengthen what makes Kannapolis exceptional: our economy, our people, and our quality of life.

But I can’t do this alone—and that’s where you come in. Here are a few meaningful ways you can help:
● Host a meet-and-greet so I can connect with your friends, neighbors, or coworkers.
● Share your support—through a letter, social media post, or conversation.
● Volunteer your time to help with canvassing, signs, or events.
● Make a financial contribution to fund outreach and materials.
This campaign isn’t just about winning a seat; it’s about building a stronger Kannapolis for the future. A city where people feel at home, businesses thrive, and everyone has a voice.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. If you’re willing to help—or simply want to connect—I’d love to hear from you.
